Up 1.4% On Shareholder Change Rumour
We refer to your letter dated 20 May 2002 and
to the article appearing in Bloomberg, on Monday, 20 May 2002.
We wish to inform the KLSE that after due and diligent enquiry,
we are not aware of any changes or impending changes in our
substantial shareholders. We would like to further highlight
that the Company has not received any formal notification
from the existing substantial shareholders with regard to
their shareholdings though we note that a period of seven
days is permitted before notification has to be given to the
Company. We would like to also highlight that the Company

on Monday, 20 May 2002, a copy of which is enclosed for your
reference.In particular, we would like to draw your attention
to the underlined sentence, which is reproduced as follows:-"...Landmarks
actively traded on rumor of possible shareholder changes."In
accordance with the Exchange's Corporate Disclosure Policy,
you are requested to furnish the Exchange with an announcement
for public release confirming or denying the above reported
sentence after due and diligent enquiry with all the directors,
major shareholders and all such other persons reasonably familiar
with the matters about which the disclosure is to be made
